Carnaroli Rice Recipes


  • 4 Cups Almond or Coconut milk
  • 1/2 Cup Maple syrup
  • 1/2 Cup Uncooked Organic Carnaroli Rice
  • 2 Tbsp Unsweetened natural cocoa powder
  • 1/3 Cup Non dairy semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 Tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 Tsp Fresh orange zest
  • 2 Tsp Chocolate shavings
  • 4 Tsp Sliced almonds


  1. In a medium saucepan combine the almond milk, maple syrup and Organic Carnaroli Rice.
  2. Bring to a gentle boil over medium high heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 40 minutes, or until the rice is very soft.
  4. Stir frequently as the rice cooks.
  5. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the cocoa powder, chocolate chips and vanilla extract.
  6. Cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then spoon into individual serving bowls.
  7. Place in the refrigerator for several hours to chill before serving.
  8. Serve topped with some orange zest, chocolate shavings and sliced almonds.
