Ingredients

Sauce

  • ½ cup soy sauce or tamari
  • ½ cup dry white wine or water
  • ⅓ cup brown or white sugar
  • ½ tsp finely grated garlic and/or ¼ tsp finely grated ginger (optional)
  • ½ tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp cold water

Optional Toppings

  • 2 pieces baby bok choy, halved & sautéed
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped green onion
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Organic Brown Pad Thai Rice Noodles

    Cook noodles according to directions on package.

    While noodles are cooking, combine soy sauce/tamari, white wine/water, sugar, and garlic and/or ginger (if using) in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, lower heat to a simmer and cook for 3-4 mins until alcohol has evaporated, and sugar has dissolved, stirring occasionally.

    Add cornstarch slurry to the pan while whisking and continue cooking until sauce is thick. Remove from heat.

    Serve noodles with sauce and your choice of toppings.
