Ingredients

Sauce

  • 2 large oranges, zest and juice (~1 cup of juice)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce or tamari
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1½ tbsp cornstarch

Optional Toppings

  • 1 bunch broccolini, charred or grilled
  • 1 block firm tofu, pan-fried
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Organic Brown Udon Rice Noodles

    Cook noodles according to directions on package.

    While noodles are cooking, add orange juice, zest, brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger to a small saucepan over medium high heat and bring to a simmer.

    Whisk cornstarch with a bit of water, then whisk it into the sauce. Continue cooking, whisking occasionally, until sauce thickens and turns glossy. Remove from heat.

    Serve noodles with sauce and your choice of toppings.
