Cook rice according to directions on package.

While rice is cooking, add orange juice, zest, brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger to a small saucepan over medium high heat and bring to a simmer.

Whisk cornstarch with a bit of water, then whisk it into the sauce. Continue cooking, whisking occasionally, until sauce thickens and turns glossy. Remove from heat.

Serve rice with sauce and your choice of toppings.
